The actress known for vulgar dialogues and scenes in ‘ATM’ has continued that image in her other movies. She was once linked to Bhuwan KC and was rumored about their marriage. But, the Jiya KC affair has apparently ended and Bhuwan seem to be dating another girl, Ashika Tamang (update: The Ashika rumor proved to be wrong and Bhuwan and Jiya are currently together as of July of 2021).

In the interview, Jiya has talked a lot about relationship. She has also talked about decency in a Nepali girl and how the relationship works prior to an official marriage. The statement of another actress, Sumina Ghimire about and that of Jiya were published in the same issue of Kamana monthly. Given her relationship with Bhuwan and others, and here roles in the movies have given the impression to the general public that, her statements might not be true.
