Actress Rekha Thapa has kicked the director Shyam Bhattarai our of ‘Himmatwali’ and took over the job herself. The actress had always wanted to be a director but was waiting for the right opportunity.

It is reported that she created misunderstanding with the director and asked him to go back to Kathmandu. To save face, Rekha told that Shyam got sick and went to Kathmandu for treatment.

Rekha Thapa is known to promise things that she doesn’t keep. She had publicly promised to let Himgyap Tasi direct ‘Kali’ in the USA and didn’t. The organizers of Remix Dhamaka 5 in Malaysia were very disappointed when the main attraction of the show didn’t show up.
