In a Nepali equivalent of baby shower, expectant mother actress Saranga Shrestha was fed dahi chiura (curd and beaten rice) by her friends. Families of Laxmi Dahal, Nima Dhamala and Pramila Sangarula invited Saranga to the surprise party.

In the ceremony, different foods are fed to the expectant mother and she is also gifted with stuffs useful for the new child.
